How your transfer is processed

PTX Exchange operates the app and the customer relationship. The regulated movement of funds is carried out by our processing partner, Cybrid Inc., which maintains a custodial arrangement with Cross River Bank. Your money sits with the bank, not with us.

What these registrations mean — and what they don't

FinCEN registration is not a license

Registration with FinCEN is a federal filing requirement for money services businesses. It is not a license, and it is not an endorsement, approval or recommendation of PTX Exchange by FinCEN or by any other government agency.

FDIC insurance covers bank deposits, not your transfer

Cross River Bank is FDIC insured. FDIC deposit insurance applies to the insured deposits held at the bank, subject to FDIC rules and limits. It does not protect against exchange-rate movements, and it is not insurance on a money transfer.
